Where It All Began

Every great story starts with a moment. Ours started with two women, a shared vision, and a whole lot of "why not?"

On 15 October 2018, Aly Garrett and Lee Duffield opened the doors to All In Advisory. No half measures, no hedging. Just two founding partners who believed that accounting could be done differently, and that business owners deserved better than the stiff, corporate experience they'd always been handed.

Aly brought over 30 years of accounting, taxation, and advisory experience to the table, along with a hard-won belief that the best work happens when you show up as your whole self, not a polished, professional version of it. Lee brought operational brilliance, an iron will, and the kind of steady-hands energy that turns a big idea into a running business. Together, they were a force.

The name said it all. All in or all out, there is no halfway.

From day one, the firm was built on a simple but radical idea: that accountants could be warm, human, and genuinely caring without sacrificing an ounce of their expertise. That cloud technology wasn't just a trend but the future. That family-focused businesses deserved a team that understood the weight of what they were building, and gave a damn about helping them protect it.

Lee was with All In from the very first day, and her fingerprints are all over what this firm became. As General Manager, she was the engine behind the operation, overseeing everything from day-to-day workflow to IT, SMSFs, and the transactional team. (There's a reason she's known as Lethal Lee.) She helped build the culture, the systems, and the standard that All In Advisory is known for today.

In June 2026, after nearly eight years of building something extraordinary, Lee moved on to her next chapter. But the foundation she helped lay is here in everything we do, every single day.

All In Advisory has grown into an award-winning, fully cloud-based firm with a team of around ten people who genuinely love what they do. We've collected a few trophies along the way. More importantly, we've built something that looks, sounds, and feels like us, bright, playful, and unapologetically all in.

And we're just getting started.
